Philip D. Dregger

Philip D. Dregger is a registered Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), and President of Technical Roof Services, Inc. since 1991.  Mr. Dregger received his Masters of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota with honors in 1978.  Prior to coming to the West Coast in 1989, he investigated condensation, wind, wall and roof covering failures for Twin City Testing in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Mr. Dregger is a past Director of the Roof Consultants Institute and a former faculty member of the Roofing Industry Educational Institute.  He serves on the executive committee of the special ad hoc Roofing Industry Committee on Wind Issues.

Mr. Dregger has designed roofing and waterproofing systems to meet the special and challenging requirements of clients including the University of California, AT&T, Kaiser Hospitals, and Disney.

He has investigated numerous roofing and waterproofing problem conditions including damages sustained after Hurricanes Ivan and Ike and after the Northridge Earthquake.  He is the author of several articles on roof technology and has lectured to industry groups sharing lessons learned from his many investigations.

Phil serves as an elder for his local church, Sanctuary Ministries.  Phil recently celebrated 30 years of marriage with his lovely wife Jill.  The Dreggers enjoy hiking, camping and exploring together the natural wonders of Northern California.
